Description
Arches Platine
Arches produce a paper designed specifically for platinum printing which was introduced to the market in 1992.
Made on cylinder molds, it features a watermark at the bottom right and all four edges in raw wire. It has double sizing not in gelatin (internal and external) which allows it to be used on both sides, but for practical use it is advisable to use only on the smoother side that is easily identifiable to the touch.
It allows a simple and uniform application of the sensitizer. It has no alkaline buffer. Always warm tones. The single original size of the 56x76 sheets (called Imperial format) always requires cutting operations for use in smaller formats.
The cut to size is made by LabOldTech.
